Tuxedomoon mainstays Steven Brown & Blaine Reininger have joined forces with Belgian musician/sound designer Maxime Bodson to create this fascinating soundtrack for a dance performance by Brussels-based choreographer Thierry Smits. Crammed's legendary Made To Measure "Composers' Series" is revived especially for the occasion.

Steven Brown | piano, clarinet, alto sax, voic

In parallel to his activities with Tuxedomoon, Brown started a solo career in 1983 with the two cult albums he recorded with Benjamin Lew, Douzième journée and A propos d'un paysage. Brown has composed music for theatre, cinema and dance, including Divine (1982, for Maurice Béjart), La Grâce du Tombeur (1990) and Eros Délétère (1991) for Thierry Smits. Since 1993, Brown has been living in Mexico where he pursues his musical activities, a.o. with the band Nine Rain.

Blaine Reininger | violin, guitar, bass and vocals

Blaine Reininger, began his solo career in 1982 with the Broken Fingers album (1982). In 1983, he left Tuxedomoon to concentrate on his own music, recording several solo albums as well as original soundtracks. At the same time, he continued collaborating with Steven Brown (the duet released three albums: 1890 - 1990: One Hundred Years Of Music (1990), Croatian Variations (1992) and Flower Songs (2006). Blaine Reininger joined Tuxedomoon again in 2004. He lives in Greece.

Maxime Bodson | electronics, bass, vocals and editing

A musician and a sound artist, Maxime Bodson has released three albums with his band paTTon, including Hellénique chevaleresque récital (2009). He is also working on his own musical venture, Squelette. Given his keen interest in the performing arts, he has been involved in projects with various artists and companies. He's been collaborating with Thierry Smits since 2005, and worked on soundtracks for Smits' pieces d’Orient, V.-Nightmares (2007) and To the Ones I Love (2010).
