Véronique Vincent is part of Aksak Maboul (she joined the band in 1980), and was the co-lead singer of The Honeymoon Killers.

Véronique sang and co-wrote the songs on  Ex-Futur Album, which was released in 2014 with a slight delay of... 30 years. These songs had been written by Véronique and Marc Hollander between 1980 and 1983 for the projected 3rd Aksak Maboul album, which wasn't completed at the time.

Since early 2015, Véronique is fronting a new version of Aksak Maboul, and has been performing the music from "Ex-Futur Album" on stage.

This new incarnation of Aksak Maboul toured for two years, and performed a.o. a series of shows with guests such as Laetitia Sadier, Jaakko Eino Kalevi and members of Aquaserge, who had all contributed  tracks to 16 Visions Of Ex-Futur, the album of covers and reworks of songs from Ex-Futur Album, which came out in 2016.

Véronique Vincent & Marc Hollander then proceeded to write a brand-new double album, Figures, which was recorded with Aksak Maboul's current line-up of Faustine Hollander, Lucien Fraipont & Erik Heestermans (plus guests including Fred Frith, Steven Brown and members of Aquaserge). The album came out last spring 2020, and features Véronique's lyrics, paintings and drawings.

Some examples of Véronique's work as a painter can be seen in the Sounds & Visuals section, at the bottom of this page.
