Dominic Sonic became the darling of the French rock press and public with his debut album, released on Crammed in 1989. Most notable was  the infectious "When My Tears Run Cold" single and its distinctive, early Kinks-like guitar riffs.

Dominic Sonic was an offspring of one of France’s most vital music scenes (Rennes, home to the famous “TransMusicales” festival). He went on to release two albums on Universal, and had recently put out a new album on the Village Vert label.
