Véronique Vincent was the co-lead singer of The Honeymoon Killers, and of the 1980-81 line-up of Aksak Maboul

Released in 2014 with a slight delay of 30 years, Ex-Futur Album consists of songs written by Véronique and Marc Hollander between 1980 and 1983 for a projected Véronique Vincent & Aksak Maboul album, which wasn't completed at the time.

Since early 2015, Véronique is fronting a new version of Aksak Maboul, and has been performing the music from "Ex-Futur Album" on stage.

Véronique is also a painter. See some examples of he work in the Sound & Visuals section on this page.

"Chez les Aborigènes", the first single off "Ex-Futur Album"...

... the avant-pop opus from 1980-83 by Véronique Vincent & Aksak Maboul

Written & recorded by Véronique Vincent (Honeymoon Killers vocalist) and Marc Hollander (Aksak Maboul & Crammed Discs founder), in collaboration with Vincent Kenis (Aksak Maboul/Congotronics), this album was announced in Crammed's early catalogues, but was never completed. It has now been assembled (and partly retrieved from demos, rough mixes and cassette tapes), and will come out in October 2014, with a slight delay of 30 years.
The single also comprises a new remix by great electronic music duet Easy & C.O.U. (who are stalwarts of the Nordic skweee scene).
