A new selection of innovative music from the Ziriguiboom imprint, now celebrating its 7th anniversary.

Ziriguiboom/Crammed is widely recognized as one of the major sources of new Brazilian music, having signed and developed artists such as Cibelle, Suba, Zuco 103, Trio Mocotó, Celso Fonseca, Bossacucanova and of course Bebel Gilberto, whose debut album "Tanto Tempo" has become a worldwide success.

This second volume of the NOW Sound Of Brazil series showcases Ziriguiboom’s latest exciting signings Apollo Nove and DJ Dolores, and comprises album tracks and exclusive remixes by all the artists currently on the Ziriguiboom roster.

 The Now Sound Of Brazil 2 (NSB2) features exclusive remixes by Da Lata (who remixed a track by Celso Fonseca), Apollo Nove (who reinterpreted a DJ Dolores track) and Primal View (with a Zuco 103 remix).

Also on NSB2: a brand-new, unreleased song by Cibelle (which she produced in London with Pascal Gabriel), a track off her as-yet-unreleased EP, and two songs from the new Apollo Nove album.

Other personalities guesting on NSB2 tracks include dub legend Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, up-and-coming young Brazilian artists Simoninha and Céu, as well as prestigious remixers Thievery Corporation, Tom Middleton and Air engineer Yann Arnaud.

Many of the tracks show the new directions which are being explored by some of these talented and adventurous Ziriguiboom/Crammed artists, who have left the expected Brazilian clichés behind in order to create their own, original and exciting blends of music.
