This is the the only release by an ephemeral Brussels band formed by Michel Sordinia and Daniel François. Michel was the lead singer with The Names, a band whose debut album was produced by Martin Hannett, and who were associated with Factory Benelux and Les Disques du Crépuscule. Daniel (who sadly passed away a few years later) was the lead guitarist with Jo Lemaire+Flouze, one of the most popular new wave/pop bands in Belgium at the time.
By Chance also comprised Flouze bassist Ferdinand Philippot, drummer Philippe Mobers and sax player Claude Bofane. This moody double A-side single included an original composition, and a cover of a
