They’re going for it. Kudistro puts (band member/producer) pq’s ripping, distorted laser-gun synth work right to the foreground - creating a dense polyrhythmic pattern loosely inspired by the kuduro sound of Angola, from which the track takes its name. Bugandan drums sing through layers of rude distortion and compression never before seen in a Nihiloxica track. Spooky-J remains resolute on drum kit and samples, conducting the groove in his typically minimal fashion. This is not just any Bugandan techno. This is Nihiloxica in their purest, rawest and most concentrated form yet.
